PV*SOL vs. PV*SOL premium
PV*SOL and PV*SOL premium are both designed to design and simulate photovoltaic systems, but they have different features and applications. PV*SOL focuses on detailed calculations of energy production, optimization of system configurations and simulation of economic returns. This makes it ideal for less complex projects where advanced visualization is not required.
PV*SOL Premium, on the other hand, includes several advanced features, such as 3D visualization and comprehensive shadow analysis. With this version, users can model complex systems in 3D, including importing detailed models from other programs, which provides accurate simulation of shadow effects from trees, buildings and other objects. In addition, PV*SOL premium now offers connectivity to the Google Solar API, which greatly simplifies and improves the process for users. This makes the Premium version ideal for larger and more complex projects where precision and visual presentation are essential, for example when working with commercial customers or complex residential installations.
Courses
As the only simulation program for the solar industry, the program offers courses in Norwegian.
Both introductory courses and workshops for more experienced users are held. If your company wishes, courses can also be held internally, and the courses can be combined with other courses held by Zolw.
